Terms & Conditions
These terms and conditions set out the basis upon which you hire equipment and accommodation from Lockerhouse. Please ensure that the information you complete when booking, is correct and complete - we cannot be held responsible for mistakes which result from incorrect or incomplete information you provide.
These general conditions apply to the use of the LockerHouse lockers and all agreements made with LockerHouse, hereinafter called the "Operator", concerning articles, clothing, bags, money and/or valuables placed in custody, hereinafter called the "articles", in the LockerHouse lockers.
Articles & Operator
Articles may not be kept and/or stored in the lockers that might constitute a risk and/or nuisance. The operator is entitled to have articles shown to the operator or its personnel before they are deposited in the locker. The operator or its personnel are entitled to refuse the placing of certain articles in the locker that they feel may cause a danger or nuisance. An agreement or promise departing is legally valid and enforceable by the user only and exclusively if the operator has concluded it with the user in writing.
The operator is entitled to open the locker. The operator may examine articles given in custody even if the articles have been entrusted to us in a sealed bag, suitcase or the like. Articles that in the operator`s opinion are hazardous or could cause a nuisance, such as explosives, chemicals or perishable goods may be destroyed, removed or sold at the user`s expense without the user being entitled to enforce any claim in this connection.
The contract will commence on the day of your arrival at the event and will terminate on the day the event closes. Lockerhouse will be open for the times advertised only. Once you have collected you locker you will have access all hours of the day until the campsite closes on the final day of the festival. The articles must be collected during the indicated opening times and before the time limit for which custody has been agreed or for which the locker made available has expired. Lockers are open for access on site 24 hours a day. The Locker House Booking Office is open 9am until 9pm.
No refunds will be offered or given when lockers pre booked and paid for whether used or not.
The user is totally responsible at all times for articles lodged in the locker. The agreement with the operator takes effect as soon as the user has taken the locker into use in accordance with the procedure indicated by the operator in the "How It Works" section. The user undertakes to observe the written and/or oral user instructions concerning the lockers and use of supplied lock.
Before taking the locker into use, the user will check whether the locker is empty and clean and operates as it should. Should the user find articles, the user will be obliged towards the operator to hand these to the operator of the locker system or its personnel.
You give your express consent to your actual/ simulated likeness to be included for no fee within any audio or visual recording to be used in any media for any purpose at any time. This includes filming by the police or security staff which may be carried out for the security of customers and/or the prevention of crime.
Loss and damage
On loss or breakage of the supplied padlock or the users misplacement of the lock combination, the operator will withhold the goods and the articles will be surrendered only if the user having proved his entitlement thereto to our satisfaction. In any of the events below the operator is entitled:-
- 1. TO ASCERTAIN THE IDENTITY OF THE USER BY MEANS OF HIS PASSPORT, DRIVING LICENCE OR OTHER MEANS OF IDENTIFICATION AND TO MAKE A PHOTOCOPY THEREOF;
- 2. TO SURRENDER THE ARTICLES ONLY AT THE END OF THE TIME LIMIT REFERRED TO AS ABOVE;
- 3. WHERE APPLICABLE, TO REQUIRE A SUM TO BE PAID BY WAY OF ADMINISTRATION CHARGES AS INDICATED;
- 4. AND, IF NECESSARY, BEFORE THE ARTICLES ARE SURRENDERED, TO REQUIRE THAT A DEPOSIT TO BE DECIDED BY THE OPERATOR WILL BE PAID AMOUNTING TO THE VALUE OF THE ARTICLES. THE DEPOSIT WILL BE RETURNED AFTER 15 MONTHS OR AS MUCH EARLIER AS THE USER`S ENTITLEMENT TO THE ARTICLES HAS BEEN SATISFACTORILY ESTABLISHED.
A locker is always used at own risk. The operator can never and on no account be held liable for the loss resulting from lock failure, riots, vandalism, weather, locker accessed by others, combination accessed by others, theft, or failure to collect the articles after use. The operator is on no account liable for loss unless wilful act or gross negligence can be demonstrated against the operator. Should it be held by final legal decision that the operator is liable for loss, it will on no account be liable for more than £50 per locker hired.
Lost or left items: We are happy to return lost/left items, however any lost property will incur a cost of £5.50 for postage. Items left behind in lockers are collected and kept for a total of 3 months for customers to claim (you must supply us with proof of purchase and ID before we send back to you). After 3 months all items are disposed of.
Complaints & Issues
Complaints/issues must be brought to the attention of staff at the booking office whilst onsite so we can deal with any issues immediately. If the problem is not rectified onsite an email must be received within 2 weeks following the festival.
Use of Web
Lockerhouse authorizes you to view and download the materials posted at this Web Site solely for your personal use. All copies of the materials downloaded must retain all copyright and other proprietary notices contained in the original materials. You may not publicly display or use the materials for commercial purposes or change the materials in any way, without having first obtained the express written consent of Lockerhouse Any use of these materials on any other Web Site or networked computer environment for any purpose is prohibited.
Use of Software
If you download any software from this Web Site, use of the same is subject to the provisions in the applicable Software License Terms and Conditions. You may not download or install the Software until you have read and accepted such Software License Terms and Conditions.
Links to third party Web Sites are provided solely as a convenience to you. Lockerhouse accepts no responsibility for the content of such third party Web Sites.
The materials posted at this Web Site are done so "without warranty" on an "as-is" basis. Lockerhouse makes no representations or any kind including, but not limited to, warranties of merchantability and fitness for purpose. Lockerhouse does not warrant the accuracy and completeness of the materials at this Web Site. Lockerhouse may make changes to the materials at this Web Site at any time without notice. The materials posted at this Web Site may be out of date, and Lockerhouse makes no commitment to update the materials at this Web Site. Applicable law may not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so the above exclusion may not apply to you.
Lockerhouse power lockers are fitted with USB charging ports only, you must provide your own USB charging cable. This power supply should only be used by devices that do not draw more than 800 milliamps. Lockerhouse has the latest electrical equipment available at the time of manufacturer however due to the possible rare fluctuations in the incoming event power please check your device can be used in this situation. Lockerhouse will take no responsibility however caused for damage sustained to electrical equipment. Due to the delicacy of such items it is recommended you protect your goods with an insurance policy often offered by equipment suppliers.
IN NO EVENT WILL Lockerhouse, OR OTHER THIRD PARTIES MENTIONED AT THIS SITE BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES WHATSOEVER (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, THOSE RESULTING FROM LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA AND ANY OTHER CONSEQUENTIAL LOSSES) ARISING OUT OF THE USE OF THIS WEB SITE OR ANY WEB SITES LINKED TO THIS WEB SITE.
